Customer Reviews
Nice evening out
Grabbed dinner there with some mates. Got a sharing platter and some chicken wings. Food was pretty good, hit the spot. The drinks were cold too. Easy night out, no complaints from anyone.
Great value for money
Went for the '2 for 10 pounds' deal on burgers last week. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much for that price, but the burgers were decent-sized and came with fries. My partner and I both got full. Saved us a good bit compared to other places. Felt like a good deal overall.
Always reliable, back again
I've been to Hungry Horse many times, and this visit was just as good as the last. We went for the Sunday roast; it was hearty and well-portioned, just like I remember from a few months ago. The gravy was particularly good. It's our go-to for a no-fuss family meal. They're consistently good with their food and the atmosphere is always relaxed.
Good food, quick service
I visited Hungry Horse last Tuesday with my family for the 'Kids Eat for 1 pound' deal. We ordered a couple of Big Plate Specials, a fish and chips, and two kids' meals. The food arrived within 15 minutes, which was impressive as the place was quite busy. Everything was hot and tasty, especially the curry I had. The Wacky Warehouse play session was a nice bonus for the little ones after we ate. The staff were friendly and cleared our plates promptly. Overall, a solid experience for a family meal out.
Consistent experience, few hiccups
This was my third time at a Hungry Horse this year, and it was pretty much what I expected. The 'Steak Night Deal' was good, the steak was cooked to medium as requested, and the chips were hot. Service was a bit slower than last time, had to wait a while for our drinks to arrive after ordering, but nothing major. The Wacky Warehouse was clean, which is always a plus for the kids. It's a reliable spot for a casual meal, but sometimes the bar can get a bit swamped.

Just booked a table for the family this weekend at our local Hungry Horse, first time trying it out. Anyone got any recommendations for the Big Plate Specials?
Just had a pretty disappointing roast dinner today at our local Hungry Horse. Meat was dry and potatoes were cold. Anyone else noticed a dip in quality recently?
Anyone know what time Hungry Horse stops serving breakfast? Planning a late-ish brunch this Saturday.
Just signed up for the newsletter, hoping to get that discount they mention. How long does it usually take for the welcome offer to come through?
Thinking of taking the kids to Hungry Horse next week, they keep asking about the Wacky Warehouse. Is the play session usually included with a kids' meal or is it extra?
Tried to use a BOGOF burger voucher and a 2 for £10 meal deal at the same time last weekend. Staff said no, only one offer per table. Anyone else had this experience?
My Blue Light Card discount didn't work on the app last night. Is it only for in-person orders, or am I missing something?
Hey, thinking of trying Hungry Horse for the first time. Heard they have huge portions, but how big are the 'Big Plate Specials' really? Like, is it actually massive or just a bit bigger than normal pub grub?
